Enhancements#

Athena Chat

  • Athena New UI: Launched an updated interface for Athena featuring cleaner layouts and enhanced usability, providing a more intuitive and streamlined user experience.

  • Story Generation Restriction: Story generation is now restricted when column or value counts exceed 5000, preventing performance issues and ensuring stable, reliable processing.

  • All Subject Area in Athena: The new All Subject Areas option now allows users to ask questions across every subject area simultaneously, enabling broader, unified analysis within Athena.

  • Conversation Ended Indicator: Older thread messages will now display a “Conversation Ended” indicator, clearly marking the conclusion of past interactions.

  • Close Conversation Button Update: The Close Conversation button will now appear only for threads containing more than two messages, while continuing to function as usual for new messages in active threads.

  • Story View Handling: While generating a story, if an error occurs, the story view will close, and only the available data will be displayed.

  • Time Indicator: After sending a query, the timer will continue running until a response is received from Athena, providing accurate visibility into response duration.

  • Explore Button in Athena Chat: The Explore button has been repositioned and is now located within the chat response, offering quicker access to exploration directly from the conversation.

  • Label Renaming in Athena Threads: The labels “More” and “Less” have been updated to “Show More Conversation” and “Show Less Conversation”.

  • Athena Chat View Update: The minimized view has been removed, and only the full-screen chat experience is now supported.

  • New Avatars: Updated avatars for both the user and Athena have been added, offering a refreshed visual identity and improved chat experience.

Explorer

  • Growth Percentage in Period Analysis: Enabled direct calculation and display of growth percentages within period analysis. Users can now compare performance across periods using automatic % growth metrics in Explorer.

  • Conditional Disabling Based on Relationships: Introduced dynamic control that automatically disables Tables, Calculated Fields, and Custom Views in Explorer when relationship conditions are not met, ensuring data consistency and preventing invalid selections.

  • Formula Aggregation Support in CS Table: Added capability to apply aggregations within formulas in CS Tables, enabling more flexible calculations and enhanced analytical expressions.

Bug Fixes#

  • Filter Input Display Fix: Previously, the filter input showed the full “@@ format” string before extracting the value. This behaviour has now been removed, and only the extracted value is displayed for a cleaner input experience.

  • Filter Edit Menu Size Update: Previously, the filter edit menu expanded based on the input length. It is now fixed, providing a consistent and uniform editing experience.

  • Smart-Query Refresh: Smart-query refresh using CSSDK is now supported in Notebook when publishing SME.

  • Haywire Login Fix: An issue causing inconsistent behaviour after user login has been resolved. If the issue occurs, the system now automatically refreshes to restore normal functionality and ensure a smooth user experience.
