Enhancements#

Athena

  • Asynchronous Responses: Responses are now processed in the background, enabling multitasking. A real-time socket notification ensures no response is missed, even if the chat screen is closed.

  • Direct Navigation to Responses: When a response is generated, users receive a popup notification, allowing them to jump straight to it with a single click for seamless access.

Direct Response Navigation#

Storyboard

  • Retaining Row Filters: Pinned responses from Explorer to Storyboards now retain row filters when shared, ensuring precise insights.

Explorer

  • Explorer and Free-Form Queries Decoupled: Explorer and Athena Free-Form queries are now independent, allowing focused improvements in Free-Form without affecting core Explorer functionalities.

  • Stop Query Execution: Users can now cancel a running query in Explorer using the new Stop feature. This gives full control, allowing them to halt response generation instantly instead of waiting for it to complete.
