Storyboard
Storyboard Widgets: Introduced support for adding widgets directly to storyboards, enabling inclusion of new elements such as** AI Narrative, Story Generation**, and other widgets to enrich storyboard interactivity and insights.
New Storyboard Filter Component: Added a dedicated filter component in storyboards, supporting options such as top, bottom, and trending filters similar to Explorer, enabling more focused and contextual data views.

Athena Chat
Athena New UI: Launched an updated interface for Athena featuring cleaner layouts and enhanced usability, providing a more intuitive and streamlined user experience.
Story Generation Restriction: Story generation is now restricted when column or value counts exceed 5000, preventing performance issues and ensuring stable, reliable processing.
All Subject Area in Athena: The new All Subject Areas option now allows users to ask questions across every subject area simultaneously, enabling broader, unified analysis within Athena.
Conversation Ended Indicator: Older thread messages will now display a “Conversation Ended” indicator, clearly marking the conclusion of past interactions.
Close Conversation Button Update: The Close Conversation button will now appear only for threads containing more than two messages, while continuing to function as usual for new messages in active threads.
Story View Handling: While generating a story, if an error occurs, the story view will close, and only the available data will be displayed.
Time Indicator: After sending a query, the timer will continue running until a response is received from Athena, providing accurate visibility into response duration.
Explore Button in Athena Chat: The Explore button has been repositioned and is now located within the chat response, offering quicker access to exploration directly from the conversation.
Label Renaming in Athena Threads: The labels “More” and “Less” have been updated to “Show More Conversation” and “Show Less Conversation”.
Athena Chat View Update: The minimized view has been removed, and only the full-screen chat experience is now supported.
New Avatars: Updated avatars for both the user and Athena have been added, offering a refreshed visual identity and improved chat experience.
Explorer
Growth Percentage in Period Analysis: Enabled direct calculation and display of growth percentages within period analysis. Users can now compare performance across periods using automatic % growth metrics in Explorer.
Conditional Disabling Based on Relationships: Introduced dynamic control that automatically disables Tables, Calculated Fields, and Custom Views in Explorer when relationship conditions are not met, ensuring data consistency and preventing invalid selections.
Formula Aggregation Support in CS Table: Added capability to apply aggregations within formulas in CS Tables, enabling more flexible calculations and enhanced analytical expressions.
Bug Fixes#
Filter Input Display Fix: Previously, the filter input showed the full “@@ format” string before extracting the value. This behaviour has now been removed, and only the extracted value is displayed for a cleaner input experience.
Filter Edit Menu Size Update: Previously, the filter edit menu expanded based on the input length. It is now fixed, providing a consistent and uniform editing experience.
Smart-Query Refresh: Smart-query refresh using CSSDK is now supported in Notebook when publishing SME.
Haywire Login Fix: An issue causing inconsistent behaviour after user login has been resolved. If the issue occurs, the system now automatically refreshes to restore normal functionality and ensure a smooth user experience.
